    Our Mission

     

     

                              THE M ISSION OF THE MONMOUTH CANCER COALITION IS TO  INCR EASE  AWARENESS, EDUCATION AND ACCESS TO CANCER SCREENING AND CARE  THROUGH DEVELOPING AND SUSTAINING COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSH IPS   WITHIN THE COMMUNITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF REDUCING CANCER MORBIDITY AND MORTALITY IN M ONMOUTH  COUNTY.   
       

     

    2009/2010 GOAL: TO ADVANCE THE NEW JERSEY COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CO NTR OL PLAN THROUGH THE COALITION BY  INCR EASI NG EARLY DETECTION AND THUS R EDUC ING CANCER MORBIDITY AND MORTALITY IN MONMOUTH COUNTY.

     

    2009/2010 OBJECTIVES:

    Offer a minimum of two new county-wide community-based events or projects, by June 30, 2010.

     

    Continue the previous successful county-wide community-based projects, by June 30, 2010 .

     

    C ontinue to provide assistance to the NJ-CEED Program in Monmouth County in continuing to meet the 2009/2010 targets for breast, cervical, prostate and colorectal cancer screening, by June 30, 2010.

     

    Continue to offer networking and educational opportunities to the membership and professional organizations, Ongoing. 

    Establish name recognition for the Monmouth Cancer Coalition through promotion and expansion of the membership, by June 30, 2010.
