N.J. Institute for Continuing Education in Tobacco

The New Jersey Institute for Continuing Education in Tobacco (NJICET) is a comprehensive training and technical assistance program made possible by a grant from the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. The Institute focuses on providing skill-based, grassroots training in   prevention, policy/education, science-based initiatives, community program development and program evaluation.

NJICET offers 18 different free trainings that are available to schools, community groups, faith-based organizations, healthcare organizations, youth groups and local government organizations. Each training is designed to help participants explore new areas and new ideas to make their communities healthier. Details about each of our trainings can be found in the enclosed brochures.

The training modules are interactive, participant centered and instructed by faculty with practical and academic expertise. These trainings are absolutely free.

If you'd like to learn more about the trainings we offer or how easy it is to host a training in your workplace or community, please do not hesitate contacting Bruce Hummer at 732-367-0611.
