New Support Program For Latina Breast Cancer Patients and Survivors
On March 11, 2009 the YWCA Princeton Breast Cancer Resource Center will launch a unique support program for Latina breast cancer patients and survivors called Curemonos. This program is designed by a Latina breast cancer survivor, for Latina breast cancer survivors, and aims to provide peer support and information, in Spanish, to Latinas coping with a breast cancer diagnosis.
The Curemonos group will meet twice each month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 12:30 - 2:00pm, at the YWCA Princeton Bramwell House Living Room. The first meeting of the month will be a "Let's Talk" Support Group, and the second will be a "Let's Learn" Workshop with guest speaker. The program is FREE and open to all Latina breast cancer patients/survivors. All activities will be conducted in Spanish and registration is not required.
