Introduction to Palliative Care

The Monmouth Cancer Coalition offers a community educational program on palliative care to all interested persons in the county. The purpose is to raise awareness about palliative care and its benefits as an important treatment option for individuals with cancer or chronic illness. As palliative care is often misunderstood by the general public and health care providers alike, this program will help dispel the myths and empower individuals to speak to their physicians about palliative care.
