Frankly Speaking about Cancer Coping with the Cost of Care
Saturday, October 31 - 9:00 AM - Noon
The Wellness Community invites people with cancer and their loved ones to a free workshop that provides a practical guide to navigating the numerous and complex challenges of managing the cost of cancer care. The program highlights such issues as health insurance and appeals, prescription assistance, employment and disability, as well as the importance of communicating about financial matters with your health care team.
Expert speakers will present valuable information and resources. All participants will receive a booklet, Coping with the Cost of Care. The program is sponsored by an unrestricted educational grant from Genentech & Lilly.
