Surviving the Breast Cancer Challenge - Body, Mind and Spirit

Celebrate and support women who are undergoing or have undergone breast cancer treatment when the Ocean County Cancer Coalition presents “Surviving the Breast Cancer Challenge - Body, Mind and Spirit.” This free dinner program for Ocean County breast cancer survivors and co-survivors will be held on May 4, 2010, at 5:30 - 8:00 PM at the Quality Inn in Toms River. Join author Marybeth Maida as she shares excerpts from her ground-breaking book "Beauty Pearls for Chemo Girls," and learn how you too can live well with cancer. Dana Auriemma, fitness expert from Pilates by the Bay and Revive Fitness & Kineses will show you how to enhance your physical well-being while undergoing this serious cancer diagnosis. Explore the world of nutrition when Be Well America’s Center for Professional Development & Personal Development’s Founder and well-being expert Dr. Robin Shapiro, an integrative medicine expert and Author of Riding the Wind and Touchstones: Essays in Spirituality and Healing explains how you can use “Food as Medicine.”
